Wedding ceremony fees effective 1 August 2011
Effective 1 August 2011 for bookings made between 1 August 2011 and 31 July 2012, for weddings taking place until 31 December 2012.

My fees are set to reflect the services and flexibility offered over and above that provided by NSW Births, Deaths and Marriages. BDM charges $420 for Friday night and weekend ceremonies that offer no choice of service or venue and accommodate only a couple of guests. By engaging me as your celebrant, you can have your ceremony where you want it, when you want it and how you want it - with total editorial control over what is said and done. Of course we need to include the legal bits! But the rest is up to you.
My fee includes:
- Initial no-obligation meeting to see if I am suitable to you. If you are interstate we can do this via Skype if you wish.
- Marriage ceremony manual with many different options for your ceremony. We can also work together to write something completely new.
- Poems and readings that you may like to incorporate into your ceremony.
- Unlimited phone and email support.
- A rehearsal with yourself and your partner at the ceremony location if required.
- Performing the ceremony.
- Use of my professional PA system including CD and MP3 players.
- A table, tablecloth and chairs for signing the paperwork.
- Completion and lodgement of all paperwork with Births, Deaths and Marriages.
- Commemorative marriage certificate.
- Lodging your application for an official copy of your marriage certificate.
Fees
- Newcastle/Lake Macquarie*/Maitland** areas: $475
* Lake Macquarie: Defined as south of Newcastle to Morisset in the west and Cams Wharf in the east. South of this area considered Central Coast - price will vary depending on where exactly your wedding is to be held.
** Maitland area: Defined as Maitland and suburbs west to Rutherford, north to Lorn and east to Beresfield. Maitland area outside of here (including Woodville, Tocal, Vacy, Lochivar areas) – $500 - Hunter Valley*** area: $500
*** Hunter Valley area: Defined as west of Black Hill including Kurri and suburbs, Cessnock and suburbs, Nulkaba, Pokolbin, Lovedale and Rothbury. Outside of here (areas around North Rothbury, Broke, Branxton, Fordwich, Lambs Valley, Glendon, Milbrodale, Singleton - please let me know your wedding location so that I can give you an accurate quote.
I take a non-refundable deposit of $140 (in line with BDM), which is deducted from the fee. The balance is due no less than 31 days before the ceremony.
My promise to you
- I promise you a professional, well-conducted ceremony that will be intimate, personal and modern.
- I am online most days so you are able to easily make contact with me if email is convenient to you.
- I offer you relaxed interviews with me at my home office where you can discuss all of your wedding requirements. There is no such thing as a silly question. You can trust me to help make the entire process as stress-free and relaxed as possible.
- I will arrive for your ceremony at least 20 minutes prior to the scheduled ceremony time.
- Importantly, I will guarantee that no other wedding will be booked so close that I arrive late or rush
